Lord of rigel alien8/11/2023 Star Wars 38: Riders in the VoidĪfter being attacked transporting medical supplies, Luke and Leia jump into hyperspace. Han and Chewbacca shoot an alien bounty hunter ( #048), who reveals there is still price on their heads, prompting them to return to the Rebel Alliance. The character used was later retconned into Mosep Binneed, Jabba’s Nimbanel accountant. We’ve seen this “Jabba” in earlier comics, it’s the Jabba that Marvel drew before we knew who Jabba actually was. Star Wars 37: In Mortal CombatĪfter concluding the storyline about Monastery, we get a few panels in which Jabba the Hut (notice the spelling) get’s some bad news. ![]() On Monastery they encounter a Nightshrike, a semi-sentient bat-like creature. One is a mammalian species with a single horn on top of its head ( #045), the other a fish-like green being ( #046). Domina Tagge, sister of Cassio Tagge, is sent to collect Luke, and is accompanied by two unnamed alien priests. Luke Skywalker is to be taken to the planet Monastery as an envoy of the Rebel Alliance, in order to plead their case to the Order of the Sacred Circle. As the name suggests, they can turn themselves into smoke, allowing them to travel to ventilation rosters. Not necessarily an actual alien species, but more of a Dark Side entity summoned by Sith sorcery. Later in the comics we encounter another life-form, the Smoke Demon. These winged beings are one of the aliens featured in both The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life: The Marvel Series, and the Ultimate Alien Anthology, despite only appearing in this single issue of the comics. They are bodyguards of Kharys, the S’kytri Majestrix of Skye. Little is known about this species, other than the fact that they are large felinoids (you know, “cat-human”). Soon after, a group of Catuman clear the streets. A member of what appears to be the same species can be seen in the opening panel on the previous page, so another option is that they are related to the planet Tirahnn. One of them appears to follow them ( #041), and might be native to a planet called Skärtis, as he exclaims upon seeing Luke and Leia “by the seven moons of Skärtis”. ![]() In the first of three “Annuals”, the heroes find themselves on Tirahnn, surrounded by a plethora of aliens. For issue 29 we encounter a Gotal and a Sakiyan. There’s some aliens in issue 28 that have been used before (perhaps with some small differences, but a lot of these background aliens start to look alike at one point). Let’s continue with some more aliens, still following the rules stipulated in the first installment. Last time we discussed most of the aliens appearing in the first volume of the “A Long Time Ago…” Omnibus series. Search terms of site:goodreads. With the release of Star Wars 108 in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Marvel Comics, I thought it’d be a good moment to start looking at the aliens in that weird corner of the galaxy. I haven't found anything in the reviews about s third guy, but it's possible. Yes, the middle of nowhere just got a lot more interesting!Īpparently, the opening chapters are on Wattpad, so you can see if this matches your friend's memories. and expose her to perils she never dreamed of. As Rigel turns his back on fawning cheerleaders to spend time with M, strange things start to happen: her acne clears up, her eyesight improves to the point she can ditch her thick glasses, and when they touch, sparks fly-literally! When M digs for a reason, she discovers deep secrets that will change her formerly humdrum life forever. ![]() M’s dream of someday escaping tiny Jewel, Indiana and making her mark in the world seems impossibly distant until hot new quarterback Rigel inexplicably befriends her. Orphaned as an infant and reluctantly raised by an overly-strict “aunt,” she’s not even sure who she is. Nerdy astronomy geek Marsha, M to her few friends, has never been anybody special. Just taking a stab, could it be Starstruck by Brenda Hiatt?
